Technical Consultant

On behalf of a client in the manufacturing sector, we are looking for an IT Consultant. You will play a strategic role supporting the client in decision-making and project processes. You will take part in meetings and decision-making boards with the client, helping to define architectural choices, gathering requirements and coordinating with the stakeholders involved. You will work closely with the internal delivery team, ensuring alignment between the project definition and implementation phases.

Activities and skills

• Senior consulting soft skills; not necessarily specialised in a specific technology, but ideally with technical seniority on the shared vendors (Cisco, Fortinet or F5).
• Supporting the client during meetings and decision-making boards, helping to define project choices
• Working with various stakeholders to gather requirements and define objectives
• Offline analysis and reworking of the information gathered where necessary
• Supporting the structuring of architectural solutions consistent with the needs identified
• Liaising with the internal delivery team
• No hands-on operational involvement is planned, but if needed in particular situations or issues, you may contribute to the delivery team

Location and working arrangement

On site in Milan 3 days a week (155 days a year).

Pay

Freelance collaboration (Italian VAT-registered professional, Partita IVA). Indicative day rate between €330 and €440, inclusive of any 4% INPS surcharge (rivalsa INPS) and excluding VAT where applicable, set according to seniority, technical skills, operational autonomy and project complexity.
